English Learners EL

Margaret Allen Middle serves many English Learners - not only providing them with the foundations they need to learn in a new country and language - but also encouraging them to share their different cultures and perspectives with others. Some of our middle school EL students are part of the SIFE program. The SIFE program exists to help English learners who have interrupted formal education due to a number of reasons. They are placed into this program for one year to help them acclimate to the formal school setting and help them to be ready for changing classrooms and other structures that occur in middle school.
